While working for Fairfield City Schools, I participated in a longstanding tradition of the district Arts Fair. Every student in the district was represented with at least one piece of work of in the show, featuring over 10,000 pieces total for a reception of 5,000 people.
These photos and video highlight exhibitions I put together in collaboration with other art teachers from grades K-8, across several shows from various years.

This video features the middle school set up from the 2022 exhibition, which was superhero/villain themed. I collaborated with my counterpart at the sister middle school in our district to plan and install this hallway to represent both schools. My students' artwork is hung primarily on the purple-backed panels.

I was responsible for curating, mounting, and hanging artwork for every student I taught. Preparing for the show was a year-long process, and I worked together with other art teachers, volunteers, and administration to spend hours installing the show for the weekend event every May.
Throughout this process, I tracked and organized all the art for our school and accounted for every student. I coordinated the set up for the show and recruited volunteers to assist with the hang up and tear down for the event. I led marketing efforts and reached out to parents to remind them of the huge event. All the work was worth it to see the students’ faces light up when they saw their work framed on the wall.

It was wonderful experience for me to connect with students and their families to celebrate their artistic achievements throughout the school year. I would love to continue to put together events that provide the opportunity for students to see their artwork on display, and to rejoice in their accomplishments.
